About Us

Morgan Harrison Home is a full-service firm specializing in construction, renovation, and full home design. Michelle and her team work closely with each client to thoughtfully create fresh and livable environments that beautifully embrace the client’s day-to-day needs and personal style.

Michelle Morgan Harrison

FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

With a background rooted in the world of fashion magazines, Michelle Morgan Harrison brings a unique editorial-trained sensibility to interior design. As the Senior Fashion Editor and Fashion Director of Elle and Mirabella Magazine respectively, her career exposed her to fashion at its highest levels - attending Couture and Ready to Wear shows and styling photo shoots around the world.

Her eye was trained to be discerning and to celebrate great design, regardless of style. Today, this shapes how she approaches each project, allowing her to seamlessly work in a variety of architectural styles while tailoring projects to each client’s unique taste and preferences.

Since establishing Morgan Harrison Home in 2006, Michelle’s work has been recognized for its sophisticated layering of color, clean lines, effortless flow, and acute blend of classic and modern. Michelle especially loves creating well-designed homes that are not just beautiful, but functional.

Her eye for detail and knack for problem-solving have earned her an exceptional industry reputation. Michelle and her team pride themselves on being a go-to firm for architects and builders while consistently delivering outstanding results. These results are the reason why her team frequently works on multiple homes for the same clients – some of whom they’ve served for over two decades.

Her work has received widespread recognition and has been featured in prestigious publications such as the Wall Street Journal, Luxe, House Beautiful, Traditional Home, Cottages & Garden, New England Home and At Home magazines. Michelle has been named on Luxe Magazine’s “Gold List” and recognized as one of Luxe Magazine’s "Fresh Faces Designer to Watch.” She is also the proud recipient of numerous At Home Magazine's "A List Awards" as well as the CTC&G's "IDA Award.”

When she is not creating beautiful interiors for Morgan Harrison Home, Michelle resides in her lovingly restored 200-year-old house in New Canaan, CT, with her husband Marc, their two sons, and their devoted pair of Irish Wheaten Terriers.
